Fergus responds... to a recent email

"Ralph, a Green Beret veteran from Kansas, emails to say that his Special Forces veterans group meet every Wednesday and the topic of conversation is Anastasia.

They would not take this were it from a young man, he writes, but for a young girl of 15 years they are deeply impressed and proud to have this fictional youngster showing how it should be done.

Ralph says 'the rescue in The Epic and Where Eagles Dare is based on the Son Tay Prison Camp raid of 1970 in North Vietnam'.

He goes on to point out 'Anastasia is fiction but Son Tay was a reality.  Well done Anastasia - keep it up girl!'

Well Ralph you think it is based on Son Tay... Yes you are right!
